This module focuses on personal financial literacy or the ability to understand and use various financial skills including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. It’s part of a three-part series on personal, business, and cooperative finances and is presented in Spanish and English. This series is tailored for people living in affordable housing communities and incorporates goals and examples that are realistic for the intended group. In this module we’ll cover five aspects of personal finance: letting go of limiting beliefs about money, taking ownership of your money, setting timelines for your money goals, building an emergency fund, and an introduction to investment.
